I am writing to express my sincere appreciation to your work crew who painted parts of our property at Yonge and Bloor again this year.

I know it is not easy working around the schedules of my tenants and their different delivery times, frequent trips to storage areas while we are having the floors painted, concerns about paint fumes, etc., but I received nothing but compliments for your crew once again.

Having been in the renovations business since 1974, I have seen all kinds of people who call themselves painters, from the student graduates of The College of Latexology who know how to throw paint at a wall to the real pros who know and understand all aspects of the trade. I place John Bell Painting Co. in the latter category who not only deliver a superior product but who can also offer the diversity of service and expertise to assist clients to make the right choices. In the end, clients often have been surprised at the final result, it being so much more than they had envisioned.

My crews can perform miracles with plumbing, electrical, drywall and brick but in the end what they see (and will always comment on if it's a bad job) is the paint job.

When our client at The Richmond Hill Presbyterian Church engaged us to carry out brick cleaning and masonry repairs, John came up with the solutions for 100 year plus rotted wood sills and a paint colour that pleased the congregation. His crews also had the certification and ability to operate an 80-foot boom to paint the bell tower. Another client, Royal St. George's College for whom we carried out extensive masonry repairs were very pleased with the result of the work John's crews performed.

I'm writing to express my sincere appreciation for the recent work that was done by John Bell Painting at the above address.

There are many things I would to thank you for. The first is the time that you spent with me at the time of the estimate. You answered all my questions and settled my concerns, particularly in reference to the plaster repairs that were required. Also the many suggestions you made were very helpful.

The second is the speedy way in which you were able to begin. As I was under a moderate time constraint, the timely start was appreciated.

Thirdly, the time spent with me on the choice of colours for the walls and ceiling was also appreciated, as I was trying to have the original colours reproduced. The end results have achieved this result, so that the rooms and the hall look the same only more so than before.

Fourthly, the painters were a pleasure to have on the job. They were thoughtful and careful. The workmanship is excellent, especially the degree of plaster that was necessary. It looks "as good as new", so that it is now difficult to remember the cracks and holes that were previously there. I also very much appreciate the care in which they preserved the positions of the picture hooks, so that rehanging the pictures were not the onerous task that it might have been. They were remarkably tidy, considering the amount of work that had to be done and especially at the end of each day, everything was out of the way and the disturbance was kept to a minimum. The quality of the repair and decoration is excellent. Please thank the painters for me.
